WHAT TO EXPECT

How an evening actually goes

No lecture. No watching somebody else cook. You’re on your feet ten minutes in and you sit down to the thing you made.

BRING

Closed-toe shoes and an appetite. Apron, knives, boards, ingredients, recipe cards and containers for the leftovers are already waiting at your station.

  1. 6:00 PM
    Arrive, apron, glass of something

Your name’s already chalked on the board above a station.

  2. 6:10 PM
    The five-minute demo

One technique, shown twice, at the front bench.

  3. 6:15 PM
Your hands, our hands over yours

Eight people, one instructor. Nobody gets stranded on the grip.

  4. 7:20 PM
    Cook the whole dish yourself

Your pan, your timing, your mistakes to fix while they’re still fixable.

  5. 8:15 PM
    Everyone sits down

One long table, one plate each, honest notes on what worked.

  6. 8:45 PM
    Cards, leftovers, out the door

You do not do the dishes. That was never the deal.
